What does 12mm mean? The measurement is the band width: the distance in millimeters between the two lugs where the strap attaches to the watch case. A 12mm watch strap will only fit a watch with 12mm between the lugs, so measure from the inside of one lug to the other before ordering.
Which watches have 12mm? It's a small size that's common on women's watches, slim dress watches, and small vintage watches. A strap that's too wide won't fit between the lugs, and one that's too narrow will leave visible gaps.
